ello again!

We is back again!  we is very sorry we has not blogged for ages but our mummy (wot dus type for us) has been very busy wiv werky type stuff and she sumtimes not even had a chance to twitter (we finds this unakseptabul!!)

But we is back and we tell yoo about our news.

we did hav luverly christmas and did get loads of pressies from santa paws.  i did get toys and hamish did get chewy fings cos that is wot he dus best.

then it was january and it do be our burfdays.  mummy did make us a doggie burfday cake and we did share it wiv our sisfur teagan and our friend hally.  i wos 4 and hamish wos 2 and we is nearly exactly 2 years apart cos my burfday is 23rd january and hamish is 19th of january.  

mummy says this is good cos she only got to makes 1 cake.  i'm not happy bout that cos i fink hamish shud get his own cake!!

last week we did have a bit of drama cos hamish did have to go to the vet cos he was covered in spots!!  the vet lady did give him big tablets wot he has had to take all week (ha ha!) and he is better now.  i got it sussed cos i did get treats for nufink when he was getting his tablet cos mummy said it was unfair to give hamish treats and not me.

our furend marfa then did send us a message to do a funny blog for troof and lies wot we did yesterday.  if you wasn't able to guess the troof i has got a video of hamish being silly (he dus fink he is in the opera - i say he is more like a cat fight bol!!)

anyways pals - we's gotta go.  will try and get mummy to type for us soon.

learnin to swim

ello everyone

sorry we has not been here for a while but we have been very busy in the ot wevver being out n about and learnin to swim!

we had a day out wiv our mummy and daddy at the Assisi big dog walk at Delamont country park and mummy did give them all the money she raised from er marafon and they was so chuffed wiv er that a nice lady took er photo.  but she did forget to take er sunglasses off for the photo and daddy did tease er for the rest of the day about er rock star pose BOL!!  There was lots of doggies there and we did meet lots of new chums, but our favrit new pal was Sam who is a St Bernard and he is the biggest doggy we has ever seen!!

We did also learn to swim on our day out cos the walk was at the lough and we did go down for a paddle.  there was ovver doggies there and their mummies and daddies were frowing balls far in the water.  we wasn't sure at first but then we decided that balls are more fun than standing watchin so we jumped in and it was soo deep that we had to start splashin and then all of a sudden we was swimmin!!!  we enjoyed it so much that we swum in circles for ages and mummy and daddy had to shout us to come out and go on our walk again BOL!!!

we do also have exciting news cos our chum Molly the Irish Terrier did have her puppies a few weeks ago.  we was a bit sad for her cos she did have 9 pups but 4 of them did cross the rainbow bridge just after they was born.  but she now has 5 healthy puppies and we finks that her pudgy puppies are just luffly and we will get more piccies of them very soon cos they is getting pudgier evry day!  but they is also squeakin like ickle baby birds and we didn't like listening to that for too long so we decided to go out into her mummys garden and wait for mummy to finish cuddlin the puppies.  she took ages and we finks she likes them but we is not getting anuvver brofur or sisfur cos daddy says 2 springers is enough for any house - we finks he is right cos anuvver doggy would just eat our noms we fink.

we have been at our nanas this week and we decided that we would be very elpful and we did go into the greenhouse to elp with all the jobs.  but we did find the strawberries and Hamish did like them very much and tried to steal them.  he was caught out cos he is a messy pup BOL!!  we was not allowed in the greenhouse after that which we fink is unfair cos we is really good at all the diggin!

Anyways we must be going now cos mummy is going to take us to the beach again and we fink this is much more fun now we as learnt to swim.  see you all laters anipals.  woofs and waggy tails to evry one.  we'll be back soon :o)

Busy!

Ello Chums

sorry i has not been on for a while but it is cos i has been been very busy and then i caused some dramas!!

i had a brill weekend last week and mummy did take me to an agility competition at Castle Ward which is not too far from our house and i gots to see all my friends.  Hamish was not wiv us that as he stayed at home wiv daddy which was good cos it was very hot and i think that his brain would have melted!

I went for a walk  in the bluebells before i had my go and that cooled me down loads cos there was water on the bluebells and then i did run over and sit on mummys feet and make her shoes wet BOL!! :0)   I did run in 3 competitions and mummy said i did very well in 2 of them, but in one of them i could not be bovvered and i ran round the jumps to chase after mummy - i was very naughty but mummy still gives me cheesy treats so i think she still loves me!

Then on sunday it was very hot again and so daddy got me and hamish a pool to splash about in and it was loads of fun.  Hamish makes lots of splashes cos he likes the water loads.  we took our pool to nana's house and kept splashing and then shaking water over nana BOL!!  it was very funny and then nana gave us yummy bones to chew - nom nom :0)

On Saturday this weekend i casued some dramas cos my back legs went all funny in the middle of the night and i coulds not walk very well.  Mummy and daddy took me to the vets in the middle of the night.  I didn't see my own vet Peter cos he was on holiday, but i had to go to a strange place in Belfast and see a lady vet.  she was very nice and told mummy and daddy that i had something wrong wiv my muscles in my back but it would be alright.  so i had to stay wiv the nice vet lady until the next morning and then mummy and daddy picked me up in the morning and i was able to walk properly again so i went home.

But i is not allowed on the stairs anymore so mummy and daddy put this thing on the stairs that looks like jail and me and hamish now sleep downstairs.  mummy is pleased cos she says there will be no more hairs on the carpets!  I say she is wrong BOL!!

anyways i has to go now cos i got to go for a check up!!

Ello from Hamish!

Ello to you!!  my name is Hamish and my big bruvver Dylan has allowed me to say ello on the blog this time...very very very excited!!!!!

we has had a busy week, on Sunday we hurt our paw paws cos we ran in a field that had bad stuff on it and it was burny, so mummy and daddy had to keep putting us in a baff of cold water.  it was freezin, but it made our paw paws feel better.  so after all that Monday was a sleepin day.

On Tuesday Dylan went to keep fits club with mummy and i stayed with daddy and had big plays and cuddles.  i don't really like it when dylan goes away buts its ok if a gets plays and cuddles and extra noms :)  i tried to do the keep fits club with mummy but there was lots of very interestin fings on the ground for me to sniff so i didn't really see what was happenin.  so Dylan goes on his own now cos he loves keep fits.

On wednesday we went to nanas house, which is my favorite cos i get to run around on the grass and chase pheasants and nana always has treats and sometimes she has tasty bones for us too.  she gave us pigs ears and i love them and ran round the garden with mine for ages - yummy yummy.  Dylan just lies down and eats his straight away - that is no fun!!!   I always like when mummy says we are going to nanas cos she always has lots of treats and i love my noms :) mummy calls me a chunky monkey cos i am a big doggy now and i eat lots BOL :)

We didn't go anywhere on thursday cos it was rainin and i doesn't likes the rain.  But today is the best cos grandad picks us up and takes us to nanas house and on a big walk and our new friend Hally is coming up to see us later and we will have big plays in the garden.  Hally is a staffie lab x and she likes her noms too so i will have to watch that she doesn't steal mine.  she can steal Dylans cos he doesn't mind sharing his noms and that will be ok.  if she steals mine i will tell mummy. 

i have to go now cos we is being picked up soon...but i will be back!!!

ello everyone

my name is Dylan and i am a springer spaniel who lives with my baby brother Hamish with our mummy and daddy in Bangor in Northern Ireland.

we have never blogged before but we thought we would give it a go cos we have met some very nice anipals on twitter who blog. but we are still a bit new to this blogging and twitter thing and its very exciting!!

i am 3 and hamish is 1 but he is bigger than me already!! hamish has a white stripe on his face and i don't have any stripes. my favorite thing is running and mummy takes me to a special club called agility every week and i have lots of lovely friends there. its so much fun cos i get to jump and go through tunnels and go on seesaws and mummy says that i am brilliant and gives me yummy cheese treats.

mummy calls hamish a cheeky monkey cos he tries to bring sticks into the house and hide them upstairs. he likes to chew stuff a lot. he also likes to sniff and is always bringing mummy and daddy presents of things he finds in the hedge or on the beach.

its been a busy day today we went for a big walk this afternoon and mummy had to go in and vote in something called an election. not too sure what that is but i'm not bothered as long as it doesn't affect my treat portions.

have to go now but i will be back soon and maybe let hamish have a go next time :)
